Thinking positive: this is the mood at Ombra Racing for the second Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup race, scheduled this weekend at Silverstone circuit, after the positive test completed by Michele Beretta and Andrea Piccini earlier this week. The italian team seems to have found the right set-up to exploit the potential of the Huracan GT3 and fight for the win, not only in the national series but also on the european stage of Blancpain GT Series.
Michele Beretta: “The last few weeks have been very intense, but we finally start to see the results: first Imola’s double podium in the Italian GT and then the very positive performance of monday’s Silverstone test, which make us happy thinking about the race. Compared to Monza, this is a much demanding track where our Lamborghini has the right cards to be among the protagonists.”
Andrea Piccini: “We look at Silverstone with optimism: in the last few days we have found a very good setup both in racing and qualifying; In both cases we have performed simulations that have given positive feedback. Now the goal is to realize how good we have seen, bringing home the first seasonal points.“
